I’ve always been a kid at heart when it comes to coloring. Until recently, with the new trend of coloring books for adults I settled for coloring along with my kids. No matter what you like to color, there are now books out there for you — faith based coloring books, small coloring books, large coloring books, etc.
If you enjoys coloring, but would also like to journal or draw your own doodles you should check out the Coloring Notebook! This little 176-page hardback coloring book measures 5.83 x 8.27 inches, so it fits nicely in my purse for on-the-go coloring time. It also features an elastic closure strap and a satin ribbon place marker. The paper is standard 100 weight so it lays flat while you’re trying to color. I wouldn’t recommend using markers or pens on this paper though, coloring pencils only or the ink will bleed through.
This nice little book is full of wonderful coloring pages, but it also includes other pages too. You can choose from lined paper, dot grids or blank pages. The nice folks at Coloring Notebook sent me a book to try and I got one with lined (ruled) paper.
Inside the back cover is a handy pocket for storing notes, photos and more. This pocket will hold up to A5 size items.
Some of the designs are simple and others are very complex, but all the graphics are high resolution and crisp so your coloring is too.
