My dark ash brown hair with a smattering of grey absorbed this color very nicely. It didn’t 100% cover my grays, but rather tinted them so they look like tiny threads of copper throughout my hair. I rather like it. This overall color is “vibrant” as the box claims and not a sad flat color which is great! The shade indicator on the box was spot on accurate. I have sensitive skin and there was no reaction to it (don’t skip the allergy test!).
I would have like the gray to be covered a little better so I give it 4 stars, but I would still recommend this color for anyone wanting to try a semi-permanent hair color!
